Great location! Fresh mango juice at breakfast!

The place was very cheap but still not value for money. It is old and looks ditry even if it is clean. Better to have your own bed linen. Also difficult to find, there is no sign outside.

First of all, I'd like to say that given the price, it's natural not to ask for too much and to be able to adapt! On the plus side, the bedding (mattress and pillow) is very comfortable, and the location is fabulous, right in the center of town!

On the negative side, however, I'd like to draw the attention of future tenants to a few points: everywhere in Ouro Preto there aren't really any windows (so noise ++++ from outside (people talking, dogs barking etc.) and cold in winter). Secondly, it seems to me that even with a low price, the owner should do a minimum: all the pipes are leaking in both bathrooms, the bedroom is so damp that it's on the verge of mould, the plaster is falling off the walls and it's impossible to leave a piece of clothing out of the bag, otherwise it will be completely damp the next day... I would therefore ask the owner to either update the photos or carry out the minor work necessary to resolve these concerns for future occupants. Breakfast was very, very basic. I'm used to Brazilian breakfasts in hostels, but here, every other time, almost nothing was provided, which is a shame. In short, good value for money, but very, very poor comfort and obligatory earplugs!

Free coffee, nice poeple. The host helps with things you need and is easy to reach. He let me use the laundry machine for free and was very chill in general.

There was no dining table, I had to eat standing or just on a chair sitting without a table. The atmosphere was very cold because the walls in the common spaces are empty and grey. Also, it was very cold the whole time, even colder than outside.
