Phong Nha Mountain House

These bungalows are a hidden gem! They were lovely, comfortable and the whole homestay is just amazing. Even though we arrived in the middle of the night we were warmly greeted and could select breakfast for the next day which turned out to be super tasty! Our host was also very helpful and renting a scooter, borrowing a bike or laundry was no problem. On top she even packed us breakfast for the day we left as we had a very early train to catch.

At nighttime you may have small visitors in the bathroom, but this is normal in Phong Nha and can be expected as its on the country side.

Tout ! Tout était parfait. Le personnel très à l'écoute et aux petits soins, petit déjeuner et dîner excellents, chambre magnifique, spacieuse, le tout dans un cadre magnifique !

The rooms are nice and the people are so nice and helpful. Breakfast was really good, the dinner was amazing.

Built on stilts in a traditional style. Room was very clean and had aircon. there were free bikes and about 1km from the town centre towards the caves - very easy bike ride. Lovely friendly helpful family and the smallest cutest dog called “man” .

Average but reliable simple breakfast of shop bought pancakes, packet noodles or eggs as expected. But Fruit and yoghurt and juices was lovely.
