Beautiful accommodation, beautiful view & perfect area. Very friendly staff and the free breakfasts were delicious and cooked to order. 10/10 - one of our favourite stays on the trip so far!

"Great hotel, but not the best location."

The Mountain house was so great! We loved our room and the service was so great.

The location was in our opinion a great minus. The location was quite far from the main town of phong nha, so there was very few options for resturants and bars, unless you are ready to walk quite the distance. We would have liked to stay further up in main town. The bedroom was a bit dark. We would have liked tp have the option for more light in the bedroom part.

"Perfect spot to relax after an eventful day"

Very clan and so comfortable. Super friendly and helpful owners. You can book different tours or go on a tour with the free bikes. The rooms have plenty space to make it comfortable. The shower is amazing and the toilet is separate so it does not get wet after taking a shower. The food is amazing but if you dont have a big appetite or just dont eat too much let them know to not waste food. Overall a very nice and relaxing experience, we will come back for sure.

"The most incredible place on earth ❤️"

We had the best stay on our travel here. We loved every second of it. The place is just incredible - breathtaking. We had incredible breakfast and dinner while staying at the Mountain House. Everything was organised for us. We also have fallen in love with their dog Mei, who adds to the family rum business. We can only highly recommend Mountain House.

"Loved every minute. We wish we had planned to stay an extra night or two."

The cabin is very peaceful, seamlessly blending with nature. Built from bamboo, stone, and wood. With a water view out fromt, lush greenery and vegetable gardens thriving out back—a perfect retreat into tranquility.. Only a couple of minutes in a grab taxi to get to the centre of town. The host Ms Ai and all staff were fantastic and very organised. Good value for money.

I loved the property but if you have mobility issues and don’t like stairs it could be a problem. The rooms are built up which gives a lovely view of the surrounds.

Lovely family ... we love AI and Yiu,an ... fantastic hosts. Great food, comfortable rooms very hot water during a February cold dnap.. This was our 2nd stay, and we will stay again.
