Weird smell

My girlfriend and I had a great stay here. The hosts helped accommodate a change in our plans and were extremely informative over messenger. The cleaning lady Geane was lovely and although I probably confused her with my broken Portuguese, she was smiley, attentive and extremely helpful. The apartment was clean, easy to find and on a safe street with everything you could need right next door. Would definitely stay again!

The only thing I can think of was that the hot water didn’t always work in the shower. Not really an issue though as it’s a good way to cool off in sunny Rio.

Nice place, well located, friendly staff and doorman. Each unit in the apartment is individually locked 👍 The unit has a microwave and mini fridge in the room 👍 Centrally located so you can get to most attractions / airports within 25-30 mins. Has many great eating options right outside the main building door, and even more just a 3 minute walk to the next block.

Ac takes a while to start cooling, but works well after ~40 mins. Not terrible considering how hot and humid it is in Rio.

Great location, place was clean.

Windows are old and don’t cancel the street noise, A/C was not cooling down the room very well, so with 30 degrees heat, it was not comfortable to sleep (there was no isolation between the ac mashine and the window so all the cool air was leaving very quick). We didn’t get the clean towels on the second night, only on the 3rd.

Great location, just a block from the beach. Very clean. Nice “house mom.” Very large room (#4). Hot shower with good water pressure.

Pretty warm in the room. AC couldn’t keep up. Also, everything was just kinda damp. Bathroom is TINY.
