Well located 2 min by foot to Copacabana beach. The room is cleaned every day but Sunday. Friendly doorman.

The building is very old but the room is quite clean. The problem is that on Sunday the lady didn't come to clean the room and the bathroom get really really smelly (I guess in Rio they have problem with the sewer system), other that with the sand the room get a mess. More, it is so humid that the towel get wet instead of dry, and if you don't change them they are useless. I never saw an hotel/ guest house were on Sunday the staff is on holiday, one pays for all the days of the stay!

this was a fantastic well-equipped, great location accommodation for anyone who doesn’t rely on a hotel front desk. solid WiFi, hot water, spacious, shared kitchen, comfortable, AC etc
