"Exceptional"

Andy was brilliant, he did everything he could to make us feel welcomed and even moved us to a bigger room. The rooms are well presented and the breakfast Andy does is superb, it is exceptional for the money we paid and Andy runs a very lovely business. Parking is brilliant and free which is a rare occurance and the surrounding area is lovely.

"Beautiful place, great little details!"

The attention to detail here was unmatched! Lovely decoration, really cute welcome tray, great toiletries, powerful shower. Couldnt ask for more. I really liked the extra towels for dyed hair, saved me from feeling bad about changing the white ones pink! Self check-in was easy and breakfast tray was nice. Also got to note they had a good collection of teas, I could go on and on...

Everything was perfect, the only constructive criticiusm I can offer is that the TV was at quite an odd angle to the bed. Doesn't really cause much bother though and I can't really offer a solution to rearranging the room so maybe I'm just being pedantic!

"A gem of a place."

Andy went above and beyond to welcome us and made us feel right at home. The guest house itself is immaculate. Our room was comfortable with everything you needed. The decor is lush with a few quirky bits thrown in ( toilet roll holder:) )There was a good selection for breakfast, too.

"Don’t waste your money, worst breakfast to date in any B&B"

The owner was very attentive via messages, but never saw them at the property

£150 was an extortionate price for a tiny room and a very sorry excuse for a breakfast. The property was next door to a pub, and Room 1 was only a few feet away from the main road. The room was so tiny, you had to step sideways to close the door, as it opened onto the bed! We were told in advance that the shower didn’t drain properly, and you had to flush the toilet to make the shower tray clear.
