Clean, comfy and great location for walking to Runswick bay.

Great value for money, property was clean and had everything we needed. Bed was super comfy! Loved breakfast on the morning :)

It was a tad cold, one of the other guests messaged to put the heating on however it was the middle of the night so didn’t get a response till the morning with instructions for how to put heating on. It would’ve been ideal to have these instructions prior so we didn’t have to bother Andy.

Andy the host was very accommodating when we arrived early due to rained off walk, even offered for us to stay another night with the poor weather. Room is not only well equipped but shared kitchen and washing facilities if needed are a dream if needed and breakfast was great. Very homely place and friendly host.

Shower is difficult due to rate of filling and the macerator, but could live with it and will be back when in the area

Nice host and good breakfast. Welcoming and clean. Good pub down the road for food. Handy for Stathes (walk, drive or bus)

Bed was a double rather than a king so a bit too small. Duvet too warm and no option for a cooler sheet. Could do with an extra chair so 2 people can sit together.

As a continental style breakfast... Very nice... But I really miss a full English!!! Definitely my preference... Location excellent.....Everything excellent....but I love a cooked breakfast....!!!

Plain porridge instead of golden syrup flavoured.... As you provide separate golden syrup anyway.... it's a logical step!!! Too sweet for me.....! Oh!..... and how about Marmite for the crumpets!?!? Delicious!!!

Self check in was straightforward and our room was very comfortable, clean with some nice little touches. We would definitely stay again.
