The Badger Set

The property was quite cosy, clean, and well-organised. It was incredibly kind of the host to provide a complimentary breakfast.

I honestly did not want to leave negative comments. Unfortunately, the toilet's extraction pump is a bit noisy while pumping the waste water.

Comfortable accommodation, very clean and well equipped. The shared kitchen area was also lovely

Our room was at the front on the ground floor. We suffered a bit with road noise as it's on the main road through the village. Traffic did calm down at night but passing cars were noticeable in the otherwise very quiet village (we do live in a very quiet area though, so we might be over sensitive). Nevertheless, a very lovely stay.

This is a room in a house - no staff on hand. The room was nicely furnished and comfortable if a little small. The owner had left cold breakfast options in the fridge (Yogurt, Cerials, Muffins, Fruit etc) which was a nice touch.

As the bed was next to a window we could have done with thicker curtains to block the light and the sound from the traffic outside.

It is a surprising little gem! The cleanness is excellent, the atmosphere is brilliant and a good breakfast with even bee pollen, fresh walnuts, selection of fresh froot..... and very comfortable bed with good sleep!

We LOVED everything there!

Was near a local pub and restaurant and also a fish and chip shop over the road. So options for food were easily available. However there is no local shop if you wanted to get snacks or nibbles, although we took our own so it didn’t matter to us. Although we would have bought ice from somewhere if we could have.

Everything was lovely very clean and perfect for us and we can’t fault it. The slight thing would be that my mum fancied a hot chocolate as she doesn’t drink tea or coffee. But this was not available, although this did not affect our stay in anyway. Just a bit of feedback.

Lovely place and very close to lots of lovely areas to visit with two lovely pubs too within 250 yards!

The host had thought of everything to make our stay excellent.

No staff present. Unsure what facilities were available. Nobody to ask.
