Holiday Home Stay

I stayed one night and it was really great. Abbas was very helpful, he gave me lots of advice and took really great care of my well-being. He took me on his bike to see old village and the countryside. I really recommend to stay in Holiday Home Stay.

We loved averting about our short (but intense) stay! Abbas and his wife took very good care about us from our arrival at the train station to our departure. They are very nice, kind and honest people, willing to talk and share all the interesting sights of the Indian culture.

The owner is really friendly and helpful. He gives good advices what you can do in the area and he really tries his best to make your stay enjoyable :) It's also in walking distance to the Western Group of temples (UNESCO world heritage site) and a national park is also not far away by tuktuk.

The rooms were on a rooftop which was very clean and had a really nice view of the temple ! Nice to hand out on during the day/evening. The staff were always helpful with food and water also being available to order even things such as a tour to a local animal sanctuary could be arranged for a good rate. I would definitely recommend staying here - I was only meant to stay a couple days but I stayed for much longer because it was so nice to be there with other travelers. And it's only a 15 minute walk to the main market/festival tents !

I had the pleasure of staying at Abbas' homestay in India, and it was an unforgettable experience. From the moment I arrived, I felt welcomed and at home. Abbas and his wife went above and beyond to make sure my stay was comfortable and memorable. Abbas is a true gentleman and has a heart of gold. He was always respectful and honest, and always made sure I had everything I needed. He went out of his way to ensure I was comfortable and was always happy to chat and offer advice on what to see and do in the local area. But the real highlight of my stay was the food. Abbas' wife is a wonderful cook, and she prepared delicious local dishes that were simply amazing. I've never tasted anything like it before, and it was such a treat to be able to enjoy home-style cooking in India. The food was always fresh, flavorful, and cooked with love, and I miss it already. Overall, I had a fantastic time at Abbas' homestay and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable, authentic and unforgettable experience in India. Abbas truly made me feel at home, and I am so grateful for his hospitality. Thank you, Abbas, for making my trip to India one of the best experiences of my life!

Abbas is a great host who will help you with everything you could ask for during your stay. The dorm was very spacious and the place is only a 10 minute walk from the Western group of temples. Khajuraho is a great place to visit if you want to get out of the cities for a bit and has plenty of nice routes you can take to enjoy the nature and fields. I would definitely recommend staying at Holiday Home Stay.
