Himawari

Location, parking and the toilet.

Great place in the Mt Aso region. Very kind and helpful owner, free parking, great wifi.

Only one shower, but I never had to wait, there are only 3 guest rooms in the house, so it is ok

Excellent accommodations in a great location near mt aso and Takachiho gorge. Kawasaki San was very nice and extremely helpful. He provided maps, recommended activities and even helped us get dinner reservations. His dog was also very sweet brightened our trip.

I have no complaints, my wife and I had a great experience. There was ample space and parking, the shared bathroom was clean and convenient.

Host is very friendly and accommodating. Questions sent via booking.com app were answered fast by the host. He made us dinner reservation for the famous red beef of Aso ( Aka ushi beef bar b que) and even drove us to and from restaurant. The petit pension Himawari is not easy to find. Just use google maps and follow directions. We had a 4- bed room for only 2 of us because he was fully booked. For Japanese hospitality, the host is 10+.

Good hospitality and personality!

The host was extremely welcoming and caring, drove us to the local supermarket, the bicycle rental and to the train station - what well (over)compensates for the location that is a bit off. Communication works quite well with the available apps.

The host was super nice! I felt right at home when I arrived and was greeted by him. Despite my broken Japanese we had a wonderful conversation duriqqng my dinner. The room was lovely and everything was super clean. I would definitely recommend to stay at Himawari!

The host was very accommodating, we did not have a car and so he drove us to get food and also drove us to get bicycles. Super friendly and helped plan our hikes.
