I liked it all

Bargain price for solo traveling. Nice safe location and big drive to park my car. Super clean bedding and towels. The host was lovely, friendly and made sure i had everything i needed, including a nice cup of tea and a hairdryer. The sarcophagus was a bit creepy, but i liked the quirkiness of the house.

Elderly dogs who had some free roam of the house. I got woken up in the morning a couple of times by them running around the hall. I wasn't comfortable walking barefoot on the carpet as i trod in a wet patch. (Possibly pee?) No lock on my bedroom door. Shower wasn't very powerful.

Lovely host, couldn't be more accommodating. House very clean and tidy and the bed was very comfy. Would stay again if in the area and would recommend.

A perfect place to stay if you just need a bed for the night or longer if in the area. Rooms were clean and tidy. Washing facilities clean and fresh. The host was very welcoming and kind.

I don’t like to give a negative and was reluctant to do so however…I found there to be an overpowering/unpleasant smell as soon as I arrived. It may well be my over sensitive nostrils but could only deduce it came from a dog/s. Sorry!
