Good hospitality

Property was very good which is located just infront of water and owner Mr.Suresh Babu was a very nice person...He didn't say no to any of the things we asked...Helped me to get an yummy cake at night 12pm in an island...Breakfast for authentic kerala breakfast which was very tasty...Thank you soo much we loved our stay at Munroe Heritage Inn...🙂

Nothing as such

Very nice location, compact cottage with good amenities. Absolutely loved the home cooked breakfast. Water body just a few metres away, boating possible.

We stayed here for 3 nights and had a wonderful time. You are made to feel at home and the family takes great care of you. The room was beautiful, large and clean. The breakfast and tea were always delicious. The sunrise canoe tour the owner, Mr. Suresh arranged was incredible and a great price. Mr. Suresh also made sure we saw all of the best parts of Munroe Island by taking us on his motorbike. We were happy to be his second guests from the USA :) If you are coming to Munroe island you have to stay here.

Suresh was a great host. Called to check on us while we were on our way. The stay is a part of their village home. A one room standalone inside their property. Good car parking. Suresh and his wife warmly interacted and showed us inside their own home as well. Included us in the local temple festival rituals. Helped us book a boat for the backwater tour which literally started from the house itself! We could walk around the village from this location .

Feels humid indoors in March end. As the cost for the AC is separate. Some red ants outside the room but that's okay.

The host was super friendly and location was great! We loved the activities the host organized for us!

Great energy by the host suresh and a great location right in front of the Backwaters made this stay totally memorable.

Suresh and his wife Vasatha are wonderful hosts with a wonderful and very peaceful place. It's very clean and silent, I felt very safe and the food they served me with was excellent :) also Suresh took really good of me as a solo traveller and showed me around and negotiated an amazing boat Trip for me :)

If I could give this wonderful Homestay 11 I would but 10 is the highest score. From the moment we arrived we felt absolutely welcomed , Sureesh and his wife are the most beautiful heart filled people . Their homestay is spacious, clean and tastefully decorated . It is across from the river where you can catch the afternoon breeze and watch the sunset . It very peaceful location . The fantastic local food for dinner is an extra bonus , I would recommend. Sureesh will ensure everything you need is taken care of , nothing is too much trouble . Take the early morning canoe trip that he will organise for you . It is splendid slowly gliding through the backwaters . The bird life and vegetation on Munroe Island is wonderful.

We loved every moment

One of the cleanest places we’ve stayed in India, with everything you need for a comfortable stay. The location is also wonderful opposite the river and with a lovely veranda to relax on. Suresh and his family are some of the kindest people I’ve met, ever. Suresh went out of his way to accommodate us from chosen activities, through to taking us on his motorbike around town to ensure we got a chance to see the sights without needing to pay rickshaws. Even when we had wondered from the property to go sit down at a part of the river, Suresh came to find us with Chai tea in hand as he knows how much we love it - thoughtful in every aspect.
