Water Front Home Stay and Resort

Il proprietario ci ha accolto con molta gentilezza nonostante il nostro ritardo (non voluto) sull'orario concordato per l'arrivo. Ci ha fatto trovare un'ottima cena e si è subito messo all'opera per offrirci il miglior servizio per la nostra permanenza trovandoci un ottimo driver di tuk tuk che ci ha fatto anche da guida. Nonostante ci abbia proposto diversi servizi non ci siamo mai sentiti pressati per accettare, cosa che abbiamo apprezzato molto. Anche la colazione tipica è stata ottima. La camera era spaziosa e molto pulita.

The family was the most lovely part of the property. So amazingly kind and welcoming. Was so helpful when I got poisoning and even spoke to his doctor for me. My girlfriend had the breakfast and said it was delicious! Loved the sweet onion and potatoes!

Heerlijke tijd gehad in de homestay in een rustige buurt. Onze kamer was ruim en comfortabel met een goed bed. We hebben elke dag ontbijt en diner gehad op het terras. Eten was super en gevarieerd. De eigenaar van de homestay is zeer hulpvaardig en denkt overal in mee. Hij spreekt goed Engels en hij heeft humor. Al met al een aanrader.

Very nice accommodation in the New Town. Lovely clean rooms with access to a patio in the garden. Free filtered water. Breakfast is served in the garden. Dinner would also be available - we did not eat there. Or the very friendly and knowledgeable host will give restaurant recommendations. Some restaurants are in walking distance. To get into the old town you would need a tuk tuk or a bike. Very nice and hospitable family. They arranged transport for us and the host is helpful with lots of information. They would also organise tours if necessary. All in all definitely recommend!

We spent two nights here. The homestay was very well maintained and the room is spacious and clean. Wasantha is a very welcoming host that helped us with all our requests. We had dinner and breakfast at the homestay, both was freshly made by him and his family and very delicious! He also showed us around Anuradhapura and drove us to Sigiriya which was both very interesting and comfortable. We also did a full-day safari in wilpattu-nationalpark. We booked the safari with Mr. Devinda and had a lovely driver named Banthi. He is very experienced and showed us beautiful animals all around the park.
