Fantastic nice people and delicious food

El hombre que lleva el alojamiento es un encanto y habla inglés muy bien (cosa bastante poco habitual en Sri Lanka). Los desayunos super auténticos, los mejores que hemos probado en nuestro viaje. El apartamento está muy limpio. Nos trataron genial, sin duda lo recomiendo.

Está un poco anticuado en general, le vendría bien un poco de renovación de mobiliario, pero aún así no me parece un problema. Hay muchas hormigas en la habitación, por tanto si tienes planeado llevar comida contigo puede ser un problema.

The owners were very welcoming and shared some very useful tips and information about Sri Lanka, relevant to our trip. We had an evening meal at the property and it was really delicious, some vegetables came from their garden and the rice was from his own field. The breakfasts were also very good. The room was pleasant and very clean and the bed was comfortable, It had a mosquito net, which was great for us. We had a view of their lovely garden from our room. Wasantha was extremely helpful and he drove us to our next destination, stopping at the Dambulla caves, which were stunning. It was a very comfortable journey and it was reasonably priced. We felt we were well looked after by the family.

The ceiling fan was noisy and there was no facility for hanging clothes. However, we mentioned it to Wasantha and he said he would address those small issues.

Chambre très propre Petit déjeuner en terrasse, très bon et très copieux. Notre hôte était très gentil, très à l'écoute, véritablement aux petits soins. Notre hôte a organisé pour nous un safari au parc national Wilpattu. Il a proposé ce safari à un autre couple ce qui a permis de partager le coût de la jeep. Tout était très bien organisé, nous avons vraiment passé une excellente journée. Notre hôte organise également des visites d'Anuradhapura mais nous n'avons pas fait appel à lui car nous avions préalablement contacté un guide.

The hosts were incredible. We spoke with them a lot, and they gave us so very good tips for the rest of our trip. The owner also drove us to Trincomalee for a good price. The breakfast is very yummy, we loved the dahl

Really loved our stay with this homestay. The owner and his family were very friendly and welcoming when we arrived and during our stay. They really tried to make the best out of our experience with giving lots of tips about the surroundings. We also had diner and breakfast here for 2 nights. Both were very nice and you could really taste they were made with love, and most of the ingredients were made with own produce. The accommodation was also very clean and taken good care of. I can recommend this stay to anyone visiting Anuradhapura!

Only the bed an pillows were a bit hard, but that is more personal preference :).

Heel fijn verblijf! Zeer gastvrije mensen. Ze zorgden voor lekker eten en hielpen ons bij het boeken van verschillende uitstappen in de omgeving.
