Dannu's Homestay

Absolutely nothing.

Horrible hostel, looks like a homeless shelter, very unfriendly owner. He gives wrong information about activities in order to buy tours from him, and he rips poor people off. Showers are horrible, nasty moulds everywhere, dirty sheets, and hot dorms. You can hear everything from outside, very noisy. No privacy in dorms.

Good location, very nice homestay next to the river, very helpfull staff, easy access to a lot of activitys and tours

The breakfast was excellent, and Dannu was very helpful and took great care of the guests.

Dannu waited for us with a delicious sandwich after our tour. A geniuos!

Mr Dannu was very hospitable and provide us also trip to Ijen. The bad was comfy.

The bathroom was separate from the room and I didn't apriciate that.

Danu was fantastic - he stayed up super late to make sure we could check in after our bus was cancelled and then the replacement rerouted. The room was a good size, and the air-conditioning worked well. Danu was also helpful in directing me to an excellent hospital when I was ill during our stay.

The private bathroom isn't attached to the bedroom, it's across the house - I was sick with a tummy bug and this made a difference. The noise from the main road is very loud due to open airbricks in the room. The beds were too hard for my preference.
