Lovely clean home, very welcoming. Beautiful area

Bed so uncomfortable couldn't sleep, had to sleep on floor. Noise from people upsets through the night was bad both Friday and Saturday.

In our first room there was everything. We stayed an extra day and that room was a shared toilet. Not PKs fault but someone didn't know how too pull the flush after a long stop. You need to get used to a shared kitchen. But it's no problem once you get used to how lovely PK is. He really is like a friend once you've been there a few days. Plus you have to take yoyr shoes off. But that's no problem except for when you are moving your stuff in and out. But it really is like staying at a friend's house with the owner. My first home stay and I can't think of one that would be better. Some pits could do with a lick of paint but it's someone's house what do you expect. All in though very nice.

Not really anything we didn't like more a case of what you must get used to. So don't take these as minus points at all. But the things that you must get used to are No door locks on any door. Removing shoes Shared kitchen. None of that was a negative though. It's just keep those points in mind if you are used to staying in a self contained place. But it really is a wonderful quiet place to escape everything.

Solo toilet

Although in the middle of nowhere it was only 15 mins from the Showground. Room was large, with plenty of storage, and shower was excellent. Use of kitchen and shelf/fridge space was superb Owner very helpful Despite failings the kitchen made up for everything else

Biggest issue for me is no locks on doors! Even front door! As a single female, with other occupants all male, this made me uneasy. Room also very run down and in need of decoration. Room is in eves. Bathroom and part of bedroom a little tricky - banged my head several times. Lighting in bedroom poor.

Spotless. Nice host. Great facilities in kitchen. Plenty fridge space. ICE for drinks. New, clean bathroom. Quiet location.. easy parking. Offered complimentary extra bit of time for check.out. good value for money. Nice spacious room.

Little pricey for late check out. No outside seating , for morning. No filter coffee, only instant coffee option.. daylight comes. straight in , early morning. (Inadequate blind). Walls in room bit bare.

Could of done with a patio set to sit outside comfortably as there is no public house to go to in walking distance, we arrived after tea with friends we sat outside as we didn’t want to go to our rooms there was only one bench but advertised as sitting area as we took some drinks to have while sitting in the sun
