GBWe had such an amazing stay with Wasantha, Chithra and their lovely son Rashi. We were made to feel incredibly welcome from the moment we arrived and they were so helpful and kind. They arranged transport for us from the station and kindly arranged a trip to the tea plantations and waterfall. The views from the property are amazing. Chithra cooked us a lovely breakfast each morning and a gorgeous evening meal. Would definitely recommend a stay with this lovely family for an authentic Sri Lankan experience
NZThe host wasnatha and his wife chitra were perfect. He came and explained all sightseeing places. His wife chitra even offered us to see how she cooks srilankan food. Everyone must try chitra special sandwich.

LTWassanta literally became my friend in one evening. So welcoming & so open, but also really respectful towards your privacy. The views are breathtaking. Be sure to join Wassa & his team to Leopards Rock (next to the highest point of SL). Also visit Wassa’s brothers restaurant/club for live music/food/8-ball. Thank you ! ✨
GRThe owner family of the woods hut is a very very sweet and kind couple who are keen to provide you any information is needed. We stayed for a night to meet Nuwara Eliya and I think this location is the most quiet and peaceful in the town. It is 10 min away from the center (by feet). The balcony view is fantastic and the room has everything you need. Mr. Wasantha, Mrs. Chitra, thank very much for everything!

ATWe had a good time with Wasa, Chithra and their son Rashi. They are a very heartwarming family and helped us with everything we needed. Wasa arranged a tuktuk tour for us to a tea factory and a waterfall and draw us a hiking-map from the house to single tree (3 hours tour through tea plantations and the wood, very recommended). You have to eat dinner there - Chithra is such a good cook! We ate twice there because we really loved it. All in all there could not be any better hosts then this family.

NZWe loved our stay at Woods Hut. We would highly recommend staying here. Wasantha and Chithra were amazing hosts, and made us feel very welcome. The suite was super comfortable, the views and deck is amazing, the bed was super cosy/comfortable and the shower had very good hot water. There was no need for aircon, it is naturally cold in the night. They were very accommodating and helped us with laundry and sorting a scooter hire/tuk tuk from the station. Chithra cooked us an absolutely amazing dinner on our final night, it was our favourite rice and curry in Sri Lanka! We had the pleasure of also meeting their son, Rashi who was very sweet and thoughtful too. This is an amazing family to meet while you are in Sri Lanka and soak up the loveliness of this special accomodation.
