The family that runs the place is extremely friendly and helpful. We had some issues getting train tickets, and they helped us to solve it. We had amazing views and a perfect breakfast.

The location is great for the views, although it is not easy to reach.

Everything was amazing! Wasantha, Chithra and their son Rashi have been so welcoming and lovely. They give us some welcome cards written in italian in order to thank us to have been there. Thank was so touching and kind. The room is really big, clean and there is a huge terrace with a super view. Also breakfast is really good! I totally suggest this place.

The view was very beautiful and the owners were very kind and attentive. The breakfast was delicious!

The view and hospitality were amazing. The room is big and comfortable. We loved the thick blankets. Wasantha, his wife and son made it an unforgettable stay.

Wasantha and Chithra’s property was perfect for our stay. They were so kind to us and very helpful. They organized a tuktuk to get us from the station and to visit the town and tea plantations. They also prepared delicious breakfast and dinner. The view is beautiful from the room (if it’s not too foggy) and there’s a heater for cold days. Would 100% recommend staying there.

Although we were only here 2 nights this accommodation was one of our favorites in Sri Lanka! Although the furnishings were relatively basic they were spotlessly clean and by the time we left it felt like we were in a palace - this was totally due to our wonderful, warm hosts. At first I was unsure as I enjoy privacy and we went through the hosts kitchen to get to our room but I loved it as our hosts were amazing, so friendly and gentle and took time to chat without being overbearing or intrusive. It was clear our comfort and wellbeing was their top priority for example with the offer of a heater as the weather was slightly cool. The bed was comfortable and the shower was hot. Breakfast in the morning was served in our room due to rain on balcony. It was delicious and plentiful. I don't want to comment under what I 'didn't like' as there was nothing but just for info this accommodation is up a short but very steep slope followed by a slim rough path so it may be difficult for those with any mobility issues

Wasantha immediately got in touch via Whatsapp to make sure we get there safely and it was very easy to communicate. The room is like in the photos, located in the home of Wasantha and his very kind family. He was very helpful with anything we needed, such as tips, recommendations, and transportation, and prepared us a lovely and delicious breakfast. Recommend for a very warm and genuine family experience. Probably more suitable for a shorter stay, especially if you happen to be there on colder days in Nuwara Eliya, as we did (15 degrees Celsius which feel like 10!). There is a heater of course and Wasantha was kind enough to turn it on during breakfast.

Very big bedroom with great views!! Wasantha and his family made our stay there more than special! They are a beautiful family, with the best hospitality that you can find. Wasantha is very attentive, looking after us for the 2 days that we stayed with them. His drivers are very lovely, specially Nishantha!! Chithra’s food is the best local food you can find around Nuwara Eliya. She made us a fantastic sandwich and delicious Kottu! Their son gave us a special and wonderful gift!! Thanks very much for those days, we’ll always remember you! All the best 🫶🏼✨

Can’t say anything bad!

We really enjoyed our stay and would have loved to stay longer. Very cosy and idyllic with a fantastic view over Nuwara Eliya! Chithra and Wasantha made us feel welcome right from the start, helped us to plan our next day and organized everything for us (transport, dinner, etc.). All in all, a perfect stay!

Wasantha and his wife are lovely people. He arranged a Tuktuk for our pick up at Nanu Oya station and also gave us a very warm welcome. The room is big, has such incredible views from the terrace and it is very calm with the sound of the forest. She offer us hot coffee and snacks in the morning! Comfortable room to visit Nuwara Eliya and enjoy the stay!! Their kid also wrote us a beautiful goodbye letter. Kindly family and place! We recommend it for sure!!
