GBDinner and breakfast excellent. Superb balcony offering great views. A lovely big room and our hosts Chitra and Wasantha were a delight.Also their son Rashi was also great with excellent English. A great find.
The steep hill you had to walk up with luggage to reach Guest House.

Amazing views, good location, beautiful cosy room, delicious homecooked meals, a (good) scooter you can rent for a decent price,.. but most imporant: the warmest, friendliest people!
ATThe family hosting the place is very friendly, helpfull and so lovely. They helped me with tuktuks or hiking routes. First thing i got was a tea when i arrived and self made cake which was amazing! The view from the balcony is breathtaking

ITBeautiful room with great view! Amazing hosts who helped us with great tips and transportation (they arranged the pick up from the station to the house and with the scooter rental). Delicious breakfast with great suggestions about the places to visit!
GBWoods Hut is quite difficult to find, so best to call the owner, Wasantha, for directions. The effort is ever so worthwhile. The room we stayed in is better appointed than many other more expensive hotels and the view is magnificent. Breakfast on the bedroom balcony is worth the cost alone. Chicra, his wife, cooked possibly the best evening meal we have eaten in Sri Lanka. They are both delightful to talk with, about their past, this house which Wasantha built himself, the wildlife, and their love of nature. Highly recommended.
GBWe had a lovely 2-night stay here. The hosts were incredibly accommodating and ensured we had a comfortable stay and couldn’t do enough. We were greeted with tea and cake which was lovey. The room was amazing, very comfy bed and had everything we needed. The view was also spectacular. Thanks again for a brilliant stay!

GRThe view was absolutely stunning. The room though basic was comfortable and clean. The hosts were fantastic very friendly and helpful. Wasnatha even phoned the train station to check on the arrival time of the train we were catching the next day. Breakfast was very tasty served to our room.
