The Rock House

had a lovely stay there before my flight! The host is incredibly accommodating and speaks good english, when I arrived he had already turned on the a/c in my room which was so nice after a long day on the bus. He also arranged for a tuktuk to take me to the airport in the morning, which arrived right on time. Bed is really comfy and very quiet during the night. Wifi wad very fast.

So friendly and helpful and great value. Perfect after a late flight.

The hotel is approximately a 15-minute drive from the airport, and the homeowner offers a convenient pick-up and drop-off service at a reasonable price. As our flight was scheduled for 1 pm, we stayed for one night, ensuring we reached the airport on time and feeling refreshed

As I mentioned, the home is very close to the airport, so when planes take off, it feels like a helicopter is landing right next to the house. It would be great if they added mosquito nets in the rooms, but the owner was friendly and provided us with a type of smoke to repel mosquitoes, effectively minimizing their presence.

Our family had a wonderful time at the Rock House. The homestay was incredibly clean, very quiet, and very close to the airport. The breakfasts were delicious. The host and his wife were beyond kind and helpful. We are brand new to Sri Lanka and he kindly pointed us in the right direction re: transportation, food, local sights, mobile phone use, and laundry. We couldn't have asked for a better introduction to Sri Lanka.

Ideal for our last couple of nights by the airport. Perera was really nice, and really helpful - he took us to for our flight in the middle of the night.

There's not much around (supermarkets - yes, but not cafes and restaurants). We ate at the big hotel next door, which was easy (and very good).

Very clean and comfortable. Owner was so hepful, he almost handled everything for me and offered me tea r coffee whenever we encountered. I enjoyed a lot this stay.
