The Rock House was the perfect place to stay after a flight! The owner was so friendly and offered airport pickup and breakfast. The room was so clean and comfy. Definitely recommend this place!

"Great for before/after flight"

The house is charming and quite, despite being very close to the airport (about 10 min). The breakfast was amazing! The owner/manager is extremely helpful. He helped us find a driver to take us to Tangalle, and we ended up getting a ride with the driver for almost the entire trip! We are very grateful for all the help we got which certainly made our trip much easier and better.

The bed was a bit uncomfortable. We wished there was a bedsheet to cover at night to sleep comfortably with the AC. I'm sure they would have provided it for us if asked, but we arrived past 1 am and didn't want to bother them anymore. We also couldn't figure out how to get hot water in the shower! It was probably a user error, and I'm sure they would have helped us if we had asked, but, again, it was past 1 am and we didn't want to bother.

"Simple and effective"

Friendly host and a convenient location for airport proximity. Bottled water provided. Rooms are large and beds comfortable. Everything you need for a short stay. Airport transfer USD6 makes things easy.

Breakfast good Sri Lankan but a bit expensive at USD8 pp. Planes can fly very close and loudly. Neighbour likes hammering at 7am.
