"A warm welcome, breakfast of champions every morning, laundry service, bakery nearby. Great!"

A warm welcome by the super friendly owners. Breakfast alone is well worth the stay, delicious home-made marmalades and fresh scrambled eggs every morning. The owners have a laundry business, perfect after a five-day hike in the muddy wild. Fifty metres from a bakery with delicious empanadas, within walking distance of supermarket, city centre 10 minutes by taxi or 20 by bus.

Shower not working when laundry machines are running.

We loved our stay at Demaris and Francisco’s home in Punta Arenas! It was like staying with a family. They were SO SWEET! We booked our stay last-minute after returning our camper van, and when we got to their house, they welcomed us like family. They were very sweet, and prepared everything for us. The guest room was super clean and cozy, and the bathroom was really clean with hot shower. There was a little common area upstairs complete with a TV, microwave, etc. The house is about 10-15 minute drive from the city center, but it costs us $2 USD TO Uber to the city center. They also offered to take us to the airport the next morning, so it was very convenient. WE HIGHLY RECOMMEND DEMARIS’ PLACE IF YOU WANT AN AUTHENTIC EXPERIENCE! I’M SO GLAD WE BOOKED THIS! We will definitely stay with them again when we come back! ❤️ MUCHOS GRACIAS, DEMARIS AND FRANCISCO!
