Donde Damaris

Francisco and Damaris are just the loveliest. The experience was really elevated by their warmth. Just very genuinely kind and caring people and we wish we stayed longer Asides from that though the space is incredibly cosy and comfortable and breakfast was fantastic as well

We felt at home. Welcoming and clean with all the facilities we needed. DAMARIS is such a nice lady and helpful. We will use again if we go back to Punta Arenas.

Really warm, very clean and cozy. Shared bathroom, but it didn’t bother us. Small homemade breakfast in a cute living room was really good.

We didn’t really feel good about living the car on the street as it is quite narrow and we didn’t know the area, but everything was good at the end.

Lovely host, they were so helpful when we had to change our plans because the ferry was cancelled. Its clean and the rooms are comfortable

A little noisy as guests checked in at 2am and there is not really any sound insulation between the rooms. This seems to be the case in all the guesthouses in this area though.

Hosts were very kind and helpful. They responded to any and all queries and the husband came to pick us up from the Airport for 9000CLP, cheaper than buses or taxis. It's located in their house on the upper part of the city, and guests live upstairs: they have 3 guest rooms, all well furnished with very comfortable beds. Multiple outlets in the common area (which has coffee, tea, a tv with Netflix/YouTube, and a cozy sofa) and the rooms. The bathroom and shower are very comfortable, and are shared between guests (no problem in having to wait though). The breakfast includes toast, orange juice, coffee, scrambled eggs, jam, cheese... very complete. They let us leave our bags the next day even after checkout for free as we went to roam the town before heading for Puerto Natales. Amazing, would recommend and come back anytime.

The location isn't great but if one understands the bus taxi system, you can get anywhere pretty fast for cheap.

A very comfortable homestay in a local chilean home, with comfortable beds and a good breakfast. There is a little mezzanine with tea and coffee making facilities, microwave and a sofa which is very useful and nice. The family is very helpful and nice and discreet.

It is a bit far from the centre of town (one needs a car) and the neighbourhood is quiet but bland and unattractive.

Was like staying with family! We were even picked up from the airport at 2am. Rooms warm, bed super comfortable and the shower has the hottest water. Breakfast was delicious and was even asked when we would like it, endless coffee and tea available. Definitely recommended, the most amazing hospitality we’ve experienced ❤️ thanks so much for having us!

Very nice homestay with such a sweet and helpful hosts. There is everything you need for a nice stay. Comfortable beds, everything was clean. 10-15mins away from centre with crab/taxi. There is also a big mall with supermarket in a walking distance.
