En-suite Bedroom in a quiet bungalow

Close to the railway where we spent a lovely afternoon.. Nice hot shower. The room was a nice temperature for us. There was no street noise.

It felt a little bit strange being welcomed by the host. I didn't feel particularly welcomed. Parking was on the road / pavement. The room was ok with a mixture of furniture and tired decoration. Pillows were really small and did not match the bedding. Could do with a couple more pillows. Walls were thin which allowed us to hear everything from next door. Shower had a broken door that leaked the water out on the floor. Could do with more milk. Really not good value for money, next time I will try the local premier inn instead.

Comfortable room, excellent facilities. Unexpected late arrival catered for with no problems generated.

The room itself was spacious and easily accessible, the facilities were top notch and the bed was very comfortable.

There wasn't any soap by the bathroom sink but that's okay, I brought some travel bars of my own.

Good location, convenient and fairly quiet. Had everything I needed for my stay. Little contact with owners, but that was evident when making the booking. No meals were provided, but a good range of possibilities in the nearby town.

No complaints. I'm not sure how smooth getting access initially would have been had the proprietor not been gardening when I arrived; it might be worth a specific word saying they guarantee to be in when you arrive, or some other arrangement for getting the room key, but this is emphatically not a complaint.

The beds were incredibly comfortable with really soft sheets.
