Gungun Homestay

the room: spacious, well decorated, modern and very clean, and with a large balcony the breakfast: I do not usually get breakfast at my stays but i made an exception - their breakfast buffet was outstanding with 4 different hot items every day (in my 2 morning stays there were an eggs dish, a stir fry tofu and veggies dish, a potatoes dish and a pancakes / momos dish) plus fruit, yoghurt, toast, peanut butter, milk, coffee etc the staff: it is family run and they are all very nice, easy going and helpful people location was very good too: in the heart of Boudha but still quiet

a very minor thing - the shower was a bit weak

The host Me. Sudir khanduri is the best. He gives perfect, simple, and clear guidance to explore the places. He went one step further to help me out and booked an auotrick for me leave at early morning.

So many plants in the house feel like garden

watch out for their big black guard dog. don’t walk straight into their kitchen haha the dog will get you
