Henry's Apartments Interlaken

This is a well positioned property that offers very good value for money.It is a basic apartment but tidy and well maintained.The key system is different but instructions are very clear.Communication with the host was sound and prompt.Proximity to a large supermarket and the railway station was a bonus.

The pillows. II dislike no top sheet and just a dooner as a cover. The light in the entrance which comes on by sensor is far too bright.The bedroom door does not seal easily and when anybody gets up at night the light triggered disturbs people sleeping.

What a beautiful apartment for our family of four! We were 2 adults and 2 teens so having 3 separate bedrooms and 2 bathrooms meant everyone had their own space and privacy. The kitchen was so well equipped and we had everything we needed. It was only 5 minutes walk from the supermarket and Interlaken West station so very convenient, with restaurants also a 5-10 minute walk away. Adrian also provided a detailed information guide with restaurant recommendations which was very helpful.

The whole apartment was fantastic! Exactly as described, very spacious, well equipped and well appointed. Couldn’t have chosen a better property, this was the right one! Adrian was beyond accomodating of our early arrival and shared helpful tips and funny stories, always ready to help out.

Accomodation was roomy and ample space for our family of five. It was very warm and the host was very accommodating when we arrived early and allowed us to leave our bags. Also the host helped out when our adapters wouldn't work. Excellent stay in Interlaken.

Steps to apartment with heavy luggages

I cannot express how much I am grateful to find this place! This apartment was just chef's kiss to our already amazing Switzerland experience. I would 100 percent recommend and very willing to come back again. 1. Clear check in/out instruction: Host provided a clear instruction on check in prior to our visitation. He even provided a video on how to open main doors and obtain keys. I was traveling with elder parents and it was dark and cold. Because of the clear instruction, we successfully checked in without a single issue. Check out guideline was also on the wall in the kitchen. We followed as instructed and left without any hustle 2. Very clean and tidy 3. Heater: All heaters were working and kept us warm from Interlaken's cold weather. We turned them off when we are getting out for the day and turn them back on when we come back. It warmed the room pretty quickly. And also helped drying our small laundry items super fast! 4. Location: It was less than 5 min walk from both grocery market and the train/bus stations. Host even provided us with the interlaken pass where we can ride Yellow bus and some trains within interlaken for free! So we had no proble using public transportation around to explore the city. We fell in love with the city and this place was part of the BIG reason we fell in love. I will definitely come back here again during my next trip to Switzerland!

The only downside would be stairs. As I mentioned, I was traveling with my elder parents and we had 3 carry-ons. Our room was on the 3rd floor with no elevator so I had to come back and forth to help my parents move their carryons. And when we return to our rooms after a long day, my parents had a little difficult time to walk up the staircases. But my parents are late 60s and early 70s. So if you are traveling with younger generations and they are capable of walking, this shouldnt be a problem.

Huge, spacious apartment, great furniture throughout. Very nice place to stay for many days. Lovely quiet suburb, short walk to shopping centre and train station.

No privacy on bathroom window (this has been mentioned many times and needs to be fixed!!!). Shower curtain not effective, water tends to overflow bathroom. Owner's instructions are 10 pages long - needs to be summarised. TV locked to prevent using own devices. Air filter device turns on and off randomly, sometimes running all night noisily.
