Amazing location looking out onto tea plantation, the train runs through the bottom of the property, I though this was very cool. Hosts are amazing, nothing too much trouble, cooked breakfast, evening meal and packed me a bag of goodies when I climbed Adams Peak for a small donation. Rajan picked me up from station, free, then the next day early he drove me in his tuktuk to Adams Peak and waited 5 hours, the price was very reasonable. Scenery was amazing to Adams Peak, worth staying here for the home stay experience. Take your own towel as they don’t supply. Shower was nice and warm.

Where I stayed looked different to pictures, there was no bed linen, or safety mat in shower. I am sure these were just overlooked and easy rectified.

We didn't stay at Trinish, but at Shane homestay. Same owner, different location. The location of Shane I think is better. It's still about 15 minutes from the train station, but also you have a view of the tea plantations and the train tracks are just below the balcony. The room is inside the house were the family is living. They were very nice, welcoming. The owner was kind and brought us from the bus station free of charge, as it was raining. It was clean, quiet, we had towel, hot water.Also they welcomed us with tea and bananas, and they offered us dinner. The breakfast was very delicious.

The room is big but the beds were hard and they are only two sockets. The bathroom is not in the room, and it's leaks under the sink. It's not a big issue but it's getting wet and you should be more careful. You don't have toilet paper, but soap is available.

Was a really nice place in a good location, food was great and the prices for both the stay and overnight hike of sri pada were very cheap for what I got. Would definitely recommend if your looking to do sri pada!

Maybe could do with more of a selection of food wouldn't be to everyone's tastes!

The owner, Mr Rajan, his wife & their youngest son, Shane were a great company. They were extremely helpful. Their meals were delicious & clean. They helped us in every single thing which I did not expect. I recommned this place- Shane Homestay to anyone in the future.
