De hele vriendelijke familie en het heerlijke eten

We werden warm welkom geheten door Mapa, Kanchi en hun zoons. We hadden een brandschone, comfortabele en sfeervolle kamer met daarvoor een heerlijk zitje op het balkon. Wat hebben we genoten bij deze lieve familie, zij maakten ons verblijf tot een feestje. Enorm genoten vd kookkunsten van Kanchi en de tour met Mapa door de oude stad van Anuradhapura en de gezellige gesprekken. Mapa bracht ons zelfs nog terug naar Negombo, echt enorm fijn. Nogmaals dank en hopelijk tot ziens!!

J’ai passé l’un des meilleurs séjours de ma vie à Ceylonima Homestay. Tout dans cette expérience était authentique et inoubliable. Le fils de Mapa m’a gentiment emmené visiter les temples d’Anuradhapura et la montagne de Mihinthale. Même s’il n’est pas guide professionnel, il a partagé avec moi tout ce qu’il savait sur la culture et l’histoire, ce qui a rendu la visite très personnelle et enrichissante. J’ai également fait un safari d’une demi-journée au parc national de Wilpattu. Mapa a tout organisé parfaitement, y compris le transport et un délicieux petit-déjeuner. Après le safari, il m’a même déposé à mon prochain hôtel, ce qui a rendu le voyage très agréable et sans stress. Nous avons eu de belles conversations en partageant nos cultures. La nourriture était aussi exceptionnelle. Le premier soir, Kanchi a préparé un riz au curry sri-lankais traditionnel, absolument délicieux. Le niveau d’épices était parfait — l’un des meilleurs repas que j’ai eus. Dans l’ensemble, ce séjour a été non seulement confortable, mais vraiment spécial. Je recommande vivement Ceylonima Homestay à tous ceux qui recherchent une expérience chaleureuse et authentique au Sri Lanka.

Large room, very clean! We like this room very much! We had dinner there as well,the kutto is really delicious! By the way, breakfast is well prepared,it’s so good!But only cash is accepted, so remember to bring enough cash.

About 5km to the center, but the boss give us a free shift to the bus station,really helpful!

L’endroit est familial, calme. Nous avions réservé 2 chambres, elles étaient impeccables et avec un très grand balcon pour se détendre. Ils nous ont servi les repas sur notre balcon, c’était super! Les repas et petits déjeuners sont excellents. Les hôtes sont vraiment adorables, on s’y sent vraiment très bien. Ils nous ont organisé le safari de Wilpattu.

We booked Ceylonima Home Stay just as somewhere to rest our heads whilst on a multi-stop-off drive around Sri Lanka. We're so pleased we did! We were greeted by the owners and escorted to our room, which was basic but spotlessly clean. The all-important air-conditioning was strong, there was a TV on the wall (which we didn't use) and a kettle with cups or mugs (I can't remember!) and some free bottles of water. The bathroom was spacious, and included a very welcome shower. We booked for an evening meal and were treated to a chicken-based Sri Lanka/Chinese fusion dish and Lion beer. When they noticed we'd finished, they gladly replenished our bowls. Ice cream to follow. So tasty! Our server is the son of the family. His spoken English was perfect, and he, like his parents were very friendly. After a beautiful, air-conditioned night, a simple breakfast of scrambled egg, sweet coconut pancakes, fruit and yoghurt, tea/coffee, was just right. And then we were on our way. We're very happy to have stayed here and have no hesitation in recommending The Ceyonima Home Stay. Unfortunately, with the war in the Middle-East, the entire hospitality and tourism industry in Sri Lanka is hurting, with unprecedented numbers of last-minute cancellations. Luckily, we'd flown direct from London, and not stopped off in Dubai, as we had. Despite this, everyone we met was just getting on with it, without complaint.

Nothing! For the price we paid, we didn't know what to expect. We were very pleasantly surprised.

Ceylonima heeft al mijn verwachtingen overtroffen. Ik heb lekker geslapen hier. De kamer was heel fijn. Maar bovenal was de familie ongelooflijk fijn en behulpzaam met alles. Er is heel goed voor me gezorgd en ik werd overal naar toe gebracht. Ook heb ik heerlijk gegeten hier, incl. al mijn dieetwensen! Ik kan dit verblijf absoluut aanraden voor iedereen die richting Anu gaat!

Er was niks op of aan te merken. Het was geweldig!

Met vriendelijke owner ooit! We konden de tuktuk makkelijk op het erf parkeren en heerlijk dineren op het eigen terrasje voor de kamer.
