Tam Coc Family Friendly Homestay

Central location, large room, comfortable beds, nice breakfast on the balcony, very helpful staff.

No separate shower.

Thang is the best! She got a solution for all your problems and wishes, from bus tickets, over motorbikes, guided tours, and insider tips for what to do around Ninh Binh (or what's lame). The room was clean, had everything it promised + a lot of toiletries, from toothbrush set to coam. Breakfast was great, and the people who run the place just lovely! Would go there again any time!

It can be a bit loud until midnight because of the karaoke bar next door

Due to the time of year/season, the wet room/bathroom took a while to dry after use.

Fantastic location right on the main strip. Clean spacious room with our own large patio. Comfortable, large beds. Superb hosts. Excellent laundry services. Scooter rental available on site. This is a 9.5/10 and we would absolutely stay here again. For reference, we are a Canadian family with teens who have been travelling SE Asia for 2 months.

Breakfast was included in our room rate. It was good but also fairly basic. Lots of great restaurants around so not sure we would have taken this route again.

Very large room that was super clean. Perfect location- very central in Tam coc and five minute walk to Tam Coc boat tour location. Restaurant next door and pharmacy and mini-mart in walking distance. The couple who owns the place is super nice and welcoming ! They let me keep my bag there and hang out after I checked out while waiting for my 9pm night train, which I really appreciated!

There’s a karaoke bar two doors down and I stayed here on a Thursday & Friday. Karaoke went until 12:30am the first night and almost 1am the second night and kept me up. Bring earplugs. Otherwise this place is a 10/10. Would still stay here again though even with the Karaoke!

Centrally located, very clean and comfortable. The hosts were marvellous and looked after us very well, arranging taxis etc. Breakfasts were great, with lots of options, including fresh fruit. The double room with a deck was great - its at the rear so away from the busyness of the main road. Beds were comfortable, with nice pillows and doonas. We also hired bicycles- they were in great condition and had laundry done easily. Live music and kareoke were fine- they stopped by midnight, but volume was such that you could still fall asleep earlier. In fact the wedding oppodite on our last evening was much, much louder- but all part of the experience! I would recommend this homestay for anyone- friends, family, couples or individuals.

Would not recommend young children staying in the room on level one as the deck is not fenced on one side.
