"Good for the price"

The location was good, and it was nice to have tea, sugar, salt, cleaning products, and toilet roll awaiting in the caravan. Bed very comfortable.

Broken wardrobe door in bedroom, this made it difficult to go to the toilet at night time quietly.

"Poor stay"

3.0

The location was great. That's about it.

Very poor stay. To start with we had trouble trying to find the caravan but eventually after speaking to the host we found it. Then went on the phone to the host. He casually said "you have brought your own bed sheets and towels haven't you?" I replied "no". He then proceeded to tell me that he had messaged me that morning at 5:55 a.m. through booking.com. By thst time we had already been in chapel st. Leonard's visiting family from the day previous so this message was useless. So when we arrived at the caravan to our shock there was no bed sheets or bed linen or pillowcases on the bed. Or towels for us to use. I have attached pictures of the items that I had to buy from a local supermarket which I would like refunding back. Something like this should be stated in the original booking or should be mentioned a lot earlier than ridiculous oclock on the same morning that we were supposed to arrive at the caravan. Once we got everything unpacked the caravan was clearly dated and worn. In parts. There was rust on the bottom of the dining chairs and the upholstery on the living area settee was filthy and worn. The shower head didn't look like it had been clean since it was bought. Growing black mould and mildew all over it. The master bedroom wardrobe was hanging on by a piece of sellotape that had been previously damaged before but not repaired. There was also a hole in the door to the living area. Sorry some reason the bed looked to have two mattresses on it. I have no idea why, but it was incredibly uncomfortable and unbalanced when we both tried to get into bed. It was clear that this place just wasn't looked after or maintained. This was a big worry for us as we took our 14-month-old boy and we had to marshall him around the caravan preventing him from coming into contact with any of these. Please don't think that this is just an angry review as it is not. It is just a true reflection on what we found when we arrived.
