Small Single room walking distance to Hove Station

nice location

too close to main road ,single glazed windows very busy area for traffic could not sleep on main bus route people slamming doors

Room was basic but clean and comfortable. Shared bathroom was reasonably clean, electric shower was effective.

Room was on 2nd floor so bear in mind if stairs are a problem. Window was a Velux window in the roof, not a sash window as pictured. The Velux did not have any blinds fitted so you will be waking up at sunrise whether you want to or not. Shared kitchen was tiny, the size of a cupboard. If you dared to try cooking in there best to lock the door behind you else someone opens the door causing you to spill whatever you are carrying. The other user of the kitchen was problematic. Took up half the worktop with her stuff and claimed the only free shelf in the cupboard. Had a go at me for touching her stuff... I must have committed the cardinal sin of using her kettle - how was I to know it was hers and why put a second kettle in there when the owner-provided one is perfectly adequate. She then proceeded to engage in petty childish behaviour such as hiding the strainer plug for the sink so I couldn't fill it to do my washing up. Would be better off not advertising a kitchen available and putting tea& coffee making facilities in the room. I ate out to avoid the hassle.

No breakfast served. It's a very nice place and closer to the bus stop.

It took more than 7 hours for you to respond to me when I got locked out.
