Finca Tres Equis - Farm and Forest

Location was gorgeous, great swing at top of mountain and horseback riding!!

All the animals and the views of the rainforest on the property were a treat.

Alfonso is a super friendly host! We enjoyed the tent and the farm very much. The view is just stunning!

Everything was well thought out and provided. They even prepared and delivered a typical Costa Rican breakfast for free and it was delicious. The large swing over looking the beautiful property was a nice bonus.

The farm is beautiful, took a drive to view points and then had a swim in the river. The glamming tent looks great, in a private position. We didn’t stay in it though. Farm has horses, goats and friendly dogs. Owner very helpful and friendly. We stayed in the cabin, which was well equipped. Two good restaurants close by. Breakfast was ok, gave us a huge portion.

Did not like the position of the cabin, we would have preferred more privacy. Next time will book the tent.

We booked here as an afterthought as our raft trip left from here but it is a real gem of a place. The chalet was comfortable and really well equipped and the setting is amazing. We arrived mid-afternoon and spent a couple of hours down by the river and did a short hike down to a waterfall and swimming spot (not an easy walk. It worth it). There are nice touches everywhere (there is a huge swing on the top of the hill with great views) and Alfonso is really helpful. You could definitely spend a good couple of days here.
