Ambuluwawa View Inn

Yashodya and Shashika really made us feel at home when we arrived at their lovely little homestay. Great communication leading up to our arrival so they knew when to expect us and they welcomed us with tea which was wonderful after a long day of tuk tuk driving followed by offering us dinner for that night which was perfect (and delicious) as we were tired and didn't feel like going out anywhere. The bedroom is simple but comfortable, very clean, and had everything you needed. Bathroom was spacious, again very clean which choice of hot or cold shower. Breakfast was simple but delicious. Situated in a quiet location which is great. We felt very welcomed and looked after as if part of the family and they provided great recommendations for things to see and do for the next part of our journey.

This place is hosted by a husband and wife. The wife will make delicious breakfast for you in the morning and the husband can take you in his tuktuk anywhere you want (also to Kandy) for a fair price. Nice rooms and even a rooftop terrace to look at the tower.

the room was spacious, modern and very clean. The hosts are absolutely amazing!! we did a cooking class and loved it! amazing dinner and breakfast. It has been our favourite stay of our Sri Lanka trip. cannot recommend them enough. 11/10!

Hosts went out of their way to make us feel welcome. They were in contact with us early to ensure we were familiar with the location and picked us up from the nearby train station.

Nice sized room Clean

Was expecting to see the tower but you can't see the tower. All of the other places we stayed so far on our trip the hosts when out of there way for us. Here they were pleasant but we did not get that same welcoming feeling.

Very beautiful, neat and clean, comfortable, good quality utilities

We were welcomed by the lovely couple with juice and new years treats. The room was very clean, with a comfortable bed and hot shower in the bathroom. We did a cooking course there and it was very interesting and resulted in the best meal so far in 10 days Sri Lanka. Safe choice in Gampola!

Very good house, so cozy. Very friendly young family. They making everything to feel you at home. Room is very nice, clean, light. Bed very comfortable, bed linen fresh and aromatic. Soft pillows. We slept very well. Very good clean bathroom with hot water and modern tiles. Available breakfast, lunch and dinner, transfer to Ambulawawa and to the city. The owner take us to the tower and wait 1,5 hours to get home. Perfect house! One of the best houses where we lived in Sri Lanka ❤️
