Breakfast was disappointing, the Sri Lankan option was fruit, sweet pancakes which were good, and toast and red 'jam' . Would have preferred a proper Sri Lankan breakfast

Very clean and comfortable. Friendly and helpful hosts. Nice freshly made breakfast and dinner.

The staff was really friendly and welcoming. They organised us the transport from the railwaystation to the Hotel and also the ride up to the Ambuluwawa Tower. The communication was easy and the owner answered all our questions. The food was also really good. We recommend staying here absolutely:D

Very hospitable and welcoming hosts, who let you feel like home. Very nice living room, dining area and the room provided. Quiet, clean, nice looking. Wi-fi works well, no problem with hot water (electric water heater). Fruits and tea upon arrival, breakfast is also amazing. We were also taken by the host to see the Ambuluwawa tower.

Nice place for 1 night stay if you want to visit Ambuluwawa tower that is only 5km away. It's a guest house where rooms for guests are on the 2nd floor. Hosts were very friendly and welcomed us with tea, helped with luggage. Rooms are equipped with fans, but it was not hot at all and we havent used them . Clean and comfortable

Unfortunately impression was spoiled when host cheated us with tuk tuk. To go to Ambuluwawa she offered to call her neighbour who is tuk tuker and when I asked price for this trip she said it will cost 250 lkr one way, so both ways 500 lkr, i have reasked about final price to be sure i got info correct and she confirmed so im 100% sure about this. When we already were going in tuk tuk host sent message not to pay to tuktuker directly but pay directly to her. When we arrived back I clearly saw that she gave to driver 1000lkr and in the final receipt she included for tuk tuk for us 2500lkr. I was really surprised for this situation, I haven't said it to host and paid in full. But was really surprised that they were so friendly and lovely, but treated in such way. Be aware of this and double check or call tuk tuk through pick me app. Breakfast is prepared by host for additional price. Cost of breakfast is 1000lkr per person and it seems too expensive for this region and for what was served. Fresh juices were salty, omlette not very tasty

- very friendly and helpful host - really nice and very well decorated building - good wifi - no a/c but fan was enough (home located on ~1000m so night was fresh enough) - they have tuktuk and can take you up to tower (remember that nowadays you can visit it on sunrise only on weekend. On other days they start a bit before 07:30) - very good breakfast and dinner served in warm family style Special thank for offer us free late checkout.

well, I'd say nothing for this service and money

Very friendly host. Cozy, modern and very clean room, beautiful decorated. There is no mosquito net, but did not have any mosquitos in my room. They have a hot shower. If you keep everything closed it will be fine. I felt very well there. I Would come again.

The owners were very nice, they helped us in trouble when we had a flat tire and needed to arrange a train ticket. The food was excellent. Everything was negotiable. Great location for a trip to the tower. The house was very clean and the room equipment was good, we used the fan on warm days. There is a train station and lots of shops nearby. The whole stay was absolutely great.

The bed was a little sagged.

Thanks to the owners, politeness people. We tried their cuisine, very tasty. We appreciated their willingness.
