Peaceful and comfortable room, really close from the tower and the town. The people are adorable, food is so tasty too. I definitely recommend :)

We LOVED our stay here! The hosts are among the friendliest hosts we’ve ever had and the accommodation is perfect for going to Ambuluwawa Tower. Room was clean, spacious and very comfortable with perfect Wi-Fi and consistent hot water. We ate breakfast and dinner here every day and we loved each meal we had… Try the curry, it’s delicious! To get to the tower, the hosts took us in their TukTuk, let us explore and then took us back to the accommodation for a very fair price. We will definitely be recommending this accommodation to our friends that come to Sri Lanka… We originally only booked 2 nights but ended up extending it to 4 nights due to the comfort. Exceptional stay 👍🏻

This property belongs to a couple who were very kind to us, they arrived at the bus station 10 minutes earlier though we didn’t intimate them about our arrival. They had the tuk tuk ready to pick us also we could grab our dinner on the go. Rooms were very neat, beautiful and comfortable. We got to stay upstairs where you can use the balcony which has the Ambuluwawa view as the name says. Make sure you drink the milk tea. They helped us travel to Ambuluwawa in the morning, he even gave us information of the same, acting as a guide. He waited for us the whole time, dropped us back to the Homestay where we had delicious breakfast waiting for us. Coconut rotti is something you can never miss, it is served with daal and coconut sambal. With our stomachs full, we left to Ella. He not only dropped us to the bus station, also waited until we got into the right bus. On the whole, they were very helpful from the start until the very end. We felt like we were visiting a friend’s place. Cost is also reasonable, you’ll have to pay extra for breakfast and water as per your needs. If we are going back to Ambuluwawa, Sri Lanka, we would definitely choose the same property.

A place that is located close to both city center and Ambulawawa tower, where I was actually heading to. Nice house to spend a night or two, or even more, if you wish. Landlord and landlady were kind and welcoming, and even gave me an opportunity to sleep and extra hour, not waking me up for a breakfast 😅 That a plus, for real :) About the room: everything was great, nothing to complain! Hot water, a king-size bed and breakfast/dinner on request. And special thanks for pieces of advice and recommendations!

Wonderful family.  they welcomed us with tea and pastries.  Excellent cleaning.  The room with private bathroom is wonderful.  They cooked us a perfect and abundant dinner: very good Italian pasta.  Perfect family.  The best hotel in Sri Lanka.  Highly recommended
