Lightning Vacation House

The room was light, clean and comfortable. It was opposite the railway station - no need for a taxi. The bed was comfortable, the shower was hot. It was a nice place to stay while visiting the historic town.

The room would be better with a fan for hot days - otherwise it was perfect. Google maps sent me to the wrong address - a small sign on the gate, or a photo of the gate, would be helpful.

First of all this property is in a great location. It is a 2 minute walk from the train station and approx a 10 minute walk to a supermarket and other local shops were nearby. The town and citadel are about a 15 minute walk away, a very pretty town with everything you need. A really friendly vibe. On arrival the owners were easy to contact and we were given a lovely room. It was spacious, comfortable and super clean. WiFi was also good .We stayed for four nights. and couldn't have been happier..there was even a puppy who greeted us on our return everyday. Highly recommend and would stay again. Tip..if you use Google maps to get to the citadel, when you get across the river, it will want to turn you right, and take you up some steep steps. Instead go straight across into the town. The route is far more gentle.

Good communication with Cornel before and during stay. He also recommended a nice place for us to have dinner. Apartment is clean and quiet with a yard and place to sit outside. We found the location to be ideal - 2 minutes from the train station and a short walk to the center.

The bed is big and comfortable but the comforter is probably for a smaller size bed.

As we were leaving on an early train was it perfect to be so close to the station, and the walk to town center is not far.

We would have appreciated two duvets rather than one big. We would also have appreciated to be told when arriving how to lock the door. It took us some time to find out.
