Amazing hosts and the room is big, spacious and very clean. There is a fridge and kettle in the room as well. We had dinner at the homestay and it was delicious. Ow er has tuk tuk, scooter rental and taxi services so he can help you organise your trip.

Great stay! The owners do everything to make you feel comfortable. They make the best breakfast and also give you free rides to town. However, I totally disagree with the people who say the view is not great. The view is great if you walk down 50 meters. You can also walk down and walk over the train tracks to Ella. This walk is one of the most amazing walks ever. You also see the waterfall and so much more. The walk takes about 20 to 30 minutes. In addition, the bed sleeps very well, and I can definitely say the price-quality ratio is good.

It is such a cute cabin llace, located directly beside the familyhouse. The bedsare nice and the breakfast the host is making is great. The couple has two lovely daughters and the host is so kund to drive you with the tuktuk. The nature around is very fresh

The stay with Sanjeeva and his family was amazing, the cabin is spacious, has a work space, its own fridge, the bathroom has a hot shower, there is another section to have breakfast in the morning, the traditional breakfast is delicious, the place is quiet and suitable for resting, in general all their services were impeccable. Right next to Ella Rock Trailhead which we did, nice hike. Recommended! It has its own tuktuk service.

Wonderful stay! Sanjeewa contacts you on WhatsApp upon your arrival and picks you up with his Tuktuk. There ist only one Cottage next to his House and it is very clean and comfortable. If you plan to leave Ella by Bus, he will drop you at the right Point and waits untill you catch the Bus. Thanks for all and If we return, we will definitly decide for his Cottage.

My wife and I recently stayed at this hotel, and unfortunately, our experience was far from pleasant. Upon arrival, we found that the owner was not present to greet us as he was attending a Wesak Dansala. While we understand the importance of cultural events, he should have informed us in advance, especially since he was aware of our booking. If we had known about his absence, we could have arranged to stay elsewhere. Upon arrival, we were offered plain tea with chocolate biscuits by the owner's wife. However, the tea was excessively sweet and undrinkable, so we had to throw it away. Later that evening, we were provided with plates and water for our meal. After finishing our dinner, we requested that the plates be cleared from the table. Unfortunately, the owner did not remove them until the following morning, which was quite inconvenient. The room itself had several issues. The washroom only had pressurized hot water, making it impossible to take a comfortable bath as the water was scalding hot. There was no view to enjoy, which was another disappointment. Breakfast was another letdown. We had requested it to be served at 7:30 AM, but it was only ready by around 8:15 AM. The breakfast consisted of roti, sambol, and tea, which were served late. Additionally, the hotel did not support account money transfer facilities, which was inconvenient. We were also charged more than the price displayed on Booking.com, with an additional charge of 700/=. To make matters worse, we did not receive any change back. To top it all off, after I initially posted a 6-star review, the owner called me and blamed me, asking me to revise my review. This was completely unprofessional and unacceptable.
