The place is inside the Jaisalmer fort, the view is incredible. Hashish was really a nice and calm guy, i told me some nice places where to go. I'll definetely come back!

The location is awesome, inside the fort in a very calm area and with beautiful views. Kim's café is a very cosy restaurant and the food is delicious. The room is very spacious, clean, beautifully decorated. The bed is big and comfortable and the bathroom is big and clean. On the top of that, Ashish made me to feel welcome, he explained many things about the history of the fort and gave me recommendations to visit in Jaisalmer. We spent some time together, watched a wollywood movie that became also my favourite so far. He also gave me a ride to the train station at my departure. Ali, the cook in Kim's café is very talented and I enjoyed his food a lot. His cooking is wonderful. Thank you Ashish and Ali for making of my visit to Jaisalmer one to remember and until next time ♡

A magnificent stay in a perfect position. A warm welcome, like being at home, Very helpful and friendly with a very good cook 🤗 They organized for us a not turistic escursion in the desert and a Camel ride which was just incredible especially the night under the stars 🤩. Then we had to send some souvenirs out of india and the manager organize everything for us. A big big thank you to all the team!

Ashish is the best Indian man you will ever meet. The hotel is inside the Fort so you have everything nearby. Everything was wonderful, he also organises safari for one or multiple nights (which i did and recommend). Just ask him whatever you want and in 2 minutes you will have whatever you asked in a perfect manner (safari, tuktuk, dinner, laundry, etc...).

Lovely homestay inside the fort. The rooms and restaurant are cozy, clean, and nicely decorated. Ashish makes you feel at home and is always happy to help or share his knowledge about the city and Indian culture. I can totally recommend doing the camel safari with them as well! They offer a free pickup service from the bus/train station at any time, which is great. I stayed here much longer than expected and would love to come back someday!

Great location, feels safe. Ashish is very helpful and considerate. The room has character, and there is a cafe you can relax and order food at any time.

It’s a homestay and old building / fort so just keep that in mind… at times the toilet didn’t flush, electricity stops working and the family seemed a bit annoyed whenever we asked them for assistance.

Amazing experience, truly kind-hearted, kind-souled people, we felt at home, the area was perfect, the hotel was very clean, I recommend it to everyone, well done.

Hostel Marigold is a hidden gem in Jaisalmer fort. The experience of being inside the fort is so unique and vibrant. The cosy Cafe terrace allows you to take in the architecture and vibes of the fort for hours. Ashish was a top and good natured host - he met us at the airport and sorted out an amazing and authentic camel safari experience, and shared all his wisdom. We were a day late getting to the accommodation bc we missed our flight and we didn't even get charged. The rooms are basic but thoughtfully decorated and give you a sense of the history. We are blessed to have had this experience.

No hot water but I don't think you can expect that for the price!

Location was good and the staff was very helpful.

The hotel was difficult to find and the location is such that a cab could not drive there. I had to walk with my luggage for last 15 minutes. The property should mention that the location needs us to use an autorikshaw rather than a four wheeler. The hotel cancelled my reservation before I reached. But allowed me to stay when I reached there.

What a lovely place! Cutely decorated which makes you feel at home. It’s in a quiet yet central area of the fort and Ali, the chef, made delicious food :). Ashish, the owner, is polite and humble and always willing to help or advice. And told some cool stories about the history of the fort! Did the desert trip with them as well which was awesome!

Wish I could stay longer!
