Marigold Home Stay

The host makes you feel at home. A pickup from the trainstation around midnight in a new city makes a warm welcome. I had a lovely room, clean and comfortable, attached to the patio where they have a restaurant. Good place to meet other travelers and hang out. The desert safari was also a good pleasure to see more of the surrounding area. We slept at a quiet place in the desert and had a great dinner and breakfast.

Staying in Marigold Homestay was the best possible experience. Everything was just fantastic. It's inside of the Fort so everything is super close and the view from the Cafe (amazing food btw) is so nice that you could spend whole days there. Ashish as a host is just awesome. So friendly, caring and helpful! Picked me up at the railway station at night, showed me around, had so many stories about Jaisalmer and made me feel so safe and welcomed that I even didn't want to leave. Also, I recommend you to go to the desert with them, it was so worth it. So if you are going to Jaisalmer - this is the place you are looking for.

Such a lovely space to be each day. Very comfortable outside lounge from where you can watch life in the fort go by. The attached cafe is also great which lots of options for food. The best part was going on the overnight desert stay that was offered by Marigold - it was so peaceful sleeping under the stars. Ashish who runs the place is a lovely and genuine man who looked after me very well. Would definitely stay here again.

Ashish and the staff at the homestay made my trip to jaisalmer a magical experience that I will never forget. Their kindness, integrity, humour, knowledge and genuineness as well as the spectacular rooms and food was fantastic. The three night tour in the desert with Akbar was also spectacular and can highly recommend this too. The whole experience was a definite high point of my trip to India.

Beautiful place in the heart of the fort, rooms with city views, quiet and peaceful. The staff is excellent and friendly. The restaurant food is great. Highly recommended.

The best homestay in Rajasthan! I love literally everything there. It's a family run place so the moment you enter the house you feel like you are a member of the family. Exceptionally friendly staff, nice terrace with a 5-star view! Great location inside the fort, right next to the entrance.There's also Kim's restaurant,which I highly recommend. I spent over a week at Marigold and it was fab!
