Sigiri Neo Homestay

What an amazing experience! From the moment we arrived, we felt so welcomed by the family who runs this place. They were incredibly friendly and went above and beyond to help us with everything we needed – from organizing a safari with the big brother and his jeep (just the three of us, making it a personal and unforgettable experience) to providing transportation (including a convenient tuk-tuk service), food, coffee, and water at a very reasonable price. They even assisted with laundry service, which was a huge help during our stay. The breakfast was absolutely delicious, and the dinner was both tasty and affordable – definitely a highlight of our stay. The family’s hospitality made all the difference, and we truly felt like we were part of their family. A few things to note: the rooms can get hot, and there’s no air conditioning – just a fan, which might not be enough during hotter days. Also, since you're in the jungle, expect to encounter mini-lizards and frogs in the room, which is part of the charm and natural environment. Overall, we had a fantastic time and will definitely be coming back in the future. Highly recommended for those looking for an authentic and affordable stay with amazing service, and the safari, tuk-tuk, and laundry services are definite bonuses!

We really enjoyed staying here as the family leading the Homestay is very nice and hospitable. We spend nice time chit chatting with them. Location is great and for this price I don't think we could find better. We took a room with AC what was very comfortable. Local breakfast was good and abundant. Served on the tarrace so we could enjoy nature in the meantime.

The room could be refreshed. The conditions were far from the hotel standards but it was clean and bed was comfortable so we don't regret.

Sigiri Neo Homestay is the best place I've been in a long time,located in a lush green and quiet area. Nihal and all his family are superfriendly and helpful people.They do the best to make you feel at home. The breakfasts and dinners cooked by Nihal's wife are delicious. Highly recommanded!

So if you really want a proper sri Lanka experience i highly recomand this family. They are just great. She will cook for you fresh sri lankan food every day and you will feel like home. The kids are funny and you can play different games with them. We love them and we will come back for sure in the future.

Family was super friendly and the kids took me to swim and showed me some cool places. I ate dinner at the homestay everyday and the food was amazing 😋

Room was moist and there was weird smell and all my stuff catched that smell also I think the activities and food was bit expensive

A homestay that feels like family. Excellent food, they took us to cool places, always helpful. A humble accomodation in a small eden they call their garden. Really recommend to experience Sri Lanka at its best.
