Sigiri Neo Homestay

Great and calm place with exceptional service of the family running the place. We have used the opportunity to get breakfasts, lunches and dinners here, everything great and with very good prices. The owner and his family are really hospital and helpfull when it comes to trip advices or basically anything. Definitely would recommend!

If you want to see the heart of Sri Lanka stay here. The family that runs this room are the most loving and friendly people you'll meet in all of Sri Lanka. We wish we stayed longer to spend more time with them. The food cooked was absolutely spectacular. They have so many beautiful creatures they rescue and care for. What an amazing treat it was to interact with all the animals. The father gave us rides and helped us arrange sightseeing. The room was clean and comfortable. The shower got HOT which was amazing.

The only thing I recommend staying away from is the "massage nature medicine shop" down the road. The family took us there as a morning activity and they are very unaware that it's a scam but it is 100%. They were so kind to offer something and take us. We do not blame them at all! If you do go do not buy anything it's not at all natural and they're charging HUGE prices for things you buy cheap from a drug store.

Very good price-performance ratio. A simple and very clean accommodation, very suitable for 2 nights in Sigiriya. The hosts are also very nice.

This is the best little homestay surrounded by nature near Sigiriya. The family are so welcoming, attentive and helpful. The room was ideal - comfortable, spacious and clean. Meals are available on request too!

The accommodation family was really lovely! I was sick during our stay and they offerd me a ride to the doctor and helped us during the appointment. You could always ask them to drive you somewhere and everyday they offerd you breakfast, lunch and dinner if you want to. Just keep in mind, that you have to pay everything in the end, so you must bring cash. They have organized a safari for us and the two children went with us as our guides, which was really cute and funny. In generel the whole family was really helpful and kind.
