"Bang on."

Lovely cottage in a beautiful setting, fresh eggs for breaky with producers of said calling by and even into the cottage, No matter how hard we squeezed they would not drop directly into the pan. Highly recommend for any Wairarapa visit, easy drive to everywhere.

Those blessed bumblebees ! A Bumblebee in the garden, sure ,OK, but on the walls, in the cupboards, in the books, even had to check under dunny seat before use in case. ! How on earth we weren't all stung to death I'll never know ! Just kidding, nothing to dislike about this joint.

romantic quiet getaway to such a warm welcome from our lovely hostess . Beautiful cottage with the most exquisite breakfast , including fresh eggs from the host’s chooks &gift of delicious limes to take away for our G&T s at home . This is a truly delightful experience all round . Thankyou Gail .

"Exceptional"

Bumblebee cottage was an exceptionally beautiful stay. The cottage was comfortable, warm and beautifully lade out. With fresh flowers and free range eggs. The grounds which must be an absolute labor of love, were bursting with spring flowers. Gail our host was very kind, fixing up a mistake we made in payment caused by Booking.com. Would totally recommend.

Gail was a fantastic host. She was so kind and attentive to our kids. Our kids absolutely loved their beautiful chickens. Their highlight of the stay is playing with the chickens. First thing in the morning they asked if they could go and see Gail and her chickens. :) We wanted to experience the typical NZ countryside lifestyle. This place offers exactly it. Their garden is absolutely gorgeous and relaxing. Fresh eggs were absolutely delicious! Thank you!
