Allegro Polanco

This place is almost perfect. So much attention to detail: they have really thought about what their guests need. Wonderful room, the most comfortable pillows ever, great communal space, perfect hot shower and very clean bathrooms.

The only reason why I don't give this place 10 is because the wall separating my room from the guest next door was so thin that we may as well have been in the same room. I could hear literally everything, even breathing!

Really good value for such a cool, upscale neighbourhood. Not used to staying where you share a bathroom, I was a little sceptical about staying at Allegro Polanco, but I found it to be clean and comfortable and GREAT VALUE. The kitchen/storage is labeled with any extras you might need (hair dryer, iron, etc) and all communication was clear and timely. Isabela greeted me and shared lots of details about how Allegro Polanco works and made sure she answered any questions. Make sure you have WhatsApp as that's how they communicate -- and many businesses in Mexico do. I would definitely stay here again!

A 100% advance payment was requested a few weeks before as there was an event in town (Formula 1) which I could have easily missed as I was travelling. It should have been requested at time of reservation that this was necessary rather that put the reservation in jeopardy.

Location

Inherently Expensive due to location.

Right in the heart of Polanco, in between the museums, awesome shopping, and any type of food you want, this a great affordable option in a very safe location. Our hosts were gracious, accommodating, and willing to help with whatever we needed. It was great to have access to a full kitchen and groceries stores within walking distance. If you like it cool at night, or an awesome view, request a room with a window. Happy we stayed there!
