$20 deposit for a fairly old room.

Don’t stay here. We first checked in, they made us pay in cash. Then tried to charge us “additional taxes”. We had paid our taxes and could see the breakdown in booking.com. When we pushed back they quickly dropped it. We went to our room, the sheets had stains, the room was dark and wasn’t very clean. However we are stay anywhere kinda people, and just sucked it up. Also to note the shower barley works. Drips of water came out. We stayed the first night of our stay. We woke up covered in bites. We then checked the beds to discover bed bugs and took some images. We went to ask for a refund for the remaining three nights showing them the images. They tried to say they are just “normal bugs” 🙄. The poor woman’s who was very nice couldn’t do anything. She called the owner or manager who said he would give us another room. We didn’t want another room as we didn’t want to stay somewhere with bed bugs. He refused to return the money for the remainder of the stay. We are now working with booking.com to try get this property taken down as it should not be available to book. Very disappointed.

sheets were torn, when we got to the room. for the entire hostel, only one mini fridge and nothing else to accomodate travellers in common areas. room near the entrance, staff were loud
