Casa Cálido Hotel

The room smelled moldy/ musty. Mattress,sheets and pillows were worn out. I didnt like dark color of the sheets , hiding a lot of things. You need to bring your own towels or rent theirs. Neighborhood dogs bark all night. Owner/ staff was accommodating though. They have let us check in early. The hotel looked safe. However, property needs updates. Rooms need more daylight and air. I suggest installing fans in the bathroom and run it all the time as it looks like majority of the mold issues are rooted from the bathroom. If you are a backpacker and you just need to crush one night, you may like it.

The location was excellent stores, restaurants, bars and the beach withing walking distance

It’s a hotel and we had to pay for the towels on top, no cleaning service in 4 nights. The room was high moisture, even my hair wouldn’t dry overnight. We had ants in the room. The bathroom was a nightmare. Smelled like hell. the AC ( I booked a room with AC with a purpose) didn’t work at all. So the nights were freaking hot. After 5 weeks in Mexico this was the worst place we had to stay.

It’s in a good area, really close to the Cozumel-playa del Carmen ferry and it looks like in the pictures.

Spacious room, big bathroom and access to roof terace .... 10 minute walk to the harbour

15 min walk to ferry. Hot shower

Extremely low lighting...one hanging. MILDEW No chair, desk, terrible wifi in room...good in hall. Accepts ONLY CASH. Be careful guys

Needs easy fixes...fan noisy, light shower head and tap in bathroom...very dark...needs bedside lamp...But still enjoyed it.
