Casa Cálido Hotel

No amenities other than fridge . Not impressed

It said the hotel was non smoking, however the entire second floor reeked like cigarettes. No one was at the hotel for check in. So I had to wait for almost half an hour outside the locked door. Friendly enough serivce. But not very organized. I wouldn’t stay here again

I would recommend! We went by mistake in an other hotel we arrived late which was definitely not easy for the staff, and yet they were so nice and understanding about it :) the room we got was all we could asked for, practical, clean and the location is great !you are like 3 blocks from the main road and the coast, nice cosy restaurants all around in such a secure environment. You can rent scooters too which I do recommend so easy and practical to get around.

So you know : the staff doesn't speak English, but everyone do their best and with a few Spanish words, we always found a way to communicate :)

Good location, quiet, comfortable beds- although could do with more pillows.

Really dark in room and no towels but we knew that anyway.. and no coffee/water available.

The shared bathroom was disgusting and not clean, also when we arrived. The bedroom smelled very bad.

The only thing that was ok was the price, ahahah. At the day of arrival they sent me a message that that they do not provide towels and I need to give them 200pesos cash deposit. I told them this was the first time when hotel do not provide towels and their comment was priceless: Yes, because we are the cheapest hotel in Cozumel. Well, you sure are.

Room was not cleaned before ny arrival. The bathroom was fool of women long hair all over the place. There were used napkins under the bad. The smell if the room was like in a cave and the lighting was so poor that I had to keep my room door open otherwise I felt like in a cellar. When I showed the guy on the recetion that my room was never cleaned he said they can only clean it tomorrow, but I was l leaving in the morning, so this would not help me. Hopefully, they at least did it for another guest. Awful experience.

The location is good, close to the center. The AC worked quite well. They have info on tours and rentals but I didn't use any of that. Decently clean. Not a bad place for the price.

Smelled a bit musty in the room. Wifi doesn't really reach inside the room.
