Bun Homestay

I had an amazing 2-night stay at BUN HOMESTAY in Battambang and couldn’t be more pleased with the experience! Even before I arrived, Mr. Bun, the owner, kindly offered to pick me up from the bus station, which was a thoughtful touch and set the tone for the rest of my stay. Upon arrival, Mr. Bun was incredibly welcoming and communicative. He let me know that bicycles and the washing machine were available for free, both of which I took full advantage of during my stay. He also organized an unforgettable trip for me to the Bamboo Train, Killing Cave, and Bat Cave. Along the way, he stopped at several places of interest, sharing insightful and humble explanations about each location, which made the experience even more meaningful. The room was comfortable, clean, and had everything I needed, plus the WiFi was excellent. Each morning, I was provided with a simple but satisfying breakfast, which was a nice bonus.

Mr. Bun has a lovely family home stay in Battambang. The home itself is down a little alleyway and is a oasis of calm. His family were all lovely and welcoming. Facilities were good, clean, and comfortable. Mr. Bun is super helpful with arranging tuk tuks and guides. Other guests staying highly recommended his guided tour of Battambang but unfortunately we didn't have the time. Location is a little out of town, about a 15 minute walk or a short tuk tuk but perfectly manageable. There is a fridge, washing machine (super helpful as we were halfway through our trip) and you can hang clothes up to dry in the space outside. Transfers and breakfast (bread, tomatoes, eggs, and fruit) included. No complaints at all.

This homestay is in a quiet little back lane. No street noise. Delcious breakfast of fruit omlette, bread and butter sitting outside in the small court yard of the house. The owner was incredibly helpful and responded quickly to all our requests.

Bun is a welcoming and warm host. always available to help. he picks you up and takes you back to your bus station. lots of advice and information for visiting battambang The homestay is well located, clean and there possibility to rent motorbike. I recommend you to stay in this familial homestay and will be back if I go back to Battambang

My personal opinion its slightly overpriced overall in Battambang but Bun and his family is the most hospitable as a human being can be, truly lovely family

Bun is the best person. Picks you up, good breakfast, great tour, close to town. Loved my stay. Loved how you get to see Cambodian family life.

The room was clean and comfortable, Mr Bun was attentive and helpful, organising tours of Battambang and lifts to and from bus drop. We were staying in a homestay and Mr Buns family were friendly and helpful. A plus being able to use the washing machine and have clean clothes

It is difficult to find initially without the pick up by Mr Bun

We had a great stay with the very friendly family and also a great Tuktuk tour with many explanations. Our room was much larger than 11 qm which is contained in booking.com.

Room was very well equipped, comfortable and clean. Mr Bun and his family were very friendly and helpful.
