Bun Homestay

Bun and his family provide everything you could wish for to have a good time offering free pick-up from bus station, free bicycles for use, good breakfast, motorcycle for rent. You can use the small kitchen, the fridge and washing machine without extra costs. If you want the family will cook meals for small money as well and Bun is happy to provide info for daytrips. The room is simple but clean and tidy. WiFi is fast and reliable.

The water from the free water dispenser tasted moldy, the mattress tends to slide down from the bed rack, the location is not the best.

Clean room, hot shower; spacious, Bun will pick you up and drop you off at the bus station, we rented the scooter at the Accomodation and everything was perfect. I think it’s good value for money, basic Accomodation for a short stay. It is not in the city center so keep that in mind when booking but with a scooter it was really close

AC wasn’t great and it was too hot in the room but definitely manageable.

Loved the homestay as made to feel part of the family. Everyone including children were very friendly. The room was clean and the bathroom fine. No issues. Breakfast was fantastic.

Our room was incredibly clean and spacious and had everything we need. Bun and his family were so helpful and so kind, we felt at home immediately. We also booked a half day tour with them, which we enjoyed immensely. The breakfast was so filling and yummy, and we had a couple lunches they offer on the property, which we also recommend, it was very affordable and delicious. Overall I highly recommend staying here, it was by far one of our favorite stays on our trip. Thanks Bun and family for the amazing hospitality 😊

This was a gorgeous homestay! Really nice big clean room & bathroom with AC & access to a full kitchen & washer & dryer! Just perfect! You got breakfast included & pick up from the bus station which was just lovely not having to find our way with our rucksacks!! We even had tea there one night for around $3 a meal from Buns mum, which were very nice!! But the thing that makes this place is Bun himself :) he is a wonderful, friendly guy with huge knowledge on the area! He made us feel really at home! We also did his tour which I highly recommend , he takes you to all the tourist attractions but also to the local village and into different families homes / businesses! You get to meet a wide variety of people and learn about local life - kind of a once in a lifetime opportunity! We would never of otherwise been able to see / find out about half the things we did! Honestly thank you so much Bun!! :)

Slightly further from town than the hostels but honestly so worth it !

Great host, lovely breakfast, Bun picked us up from bus station and dropped us back after being his guests, hired motorcycle for $7 a day, Great value 😀

Little bit out the way of good restaurants but Bun has home delivery service including alcohol

Bun is an amazing host, very knowledgeable about the area (highly recommend to do his day tour). The room is clean and organised.

To get to the pub street you need to walk about 15 minutes, but bicycles are being provided by bun, free of charge.

Bun’s homestay was delightful. He has a wealth of information to share. Him and his family are beautiful. I loved my time here. They have free bikes too. Thank you

Family run business, very clean, comfy bed, hot water, everybody very friendly and warm hearted. Good washing machine, they provided me with washing powder so I was extremely happy to get fresh clothes. The host Bun was very reliable, replied quickly and provided me with pick up and transport on arrival and departure day free of charge. I arrived by boat 10km out of town even this long distance for free. Bun is an attentive person who cares for his guests. Because the homestay is little bit difficult to find by some tuktuk drivers I recommend pickup by Bun. He is also very helpful to arrange tours and drivers and offers also tours by himself. I recommend Buns homestay because the extra service is a big plus.
