Bun Homestay

Bun is an excellent host. He will try his best for you to have a pleasant stay in Battambang. Location may not be the best (although still 15min away walking from city center) but the pickup from station etc is a blessing and the possibility to use the bikes is great (by bike you will be in downtown in no more than 5min). The room is big, clean and confortable. Breakfast is good and different every day. Bun can organize some great tours around Battambang. Recommended.

One night neighbours were partying with loud music. Not Bun's fault though!

Bun is really fantastic. Make sure to do the full day tour with him! You’ll get to see so many local sites that you would normally not see. Room is also comfortable. Good bed, great breakfast. There are bikes that you can use (very fun to bike around in the Battambang traffic). In general a great experience!!

Bun and his family run this wonderful homestay. He was very friendly and spoke good English. He provided a pick-up and drop-off service at my bus location in Battambang for free. My first night there, Bun provided me with a complimentary sandwich. Apparently, it was his sisters birthday. He will go out of his way to make your stay very comfortable!!!!!! The accommodation was great. It was in a quiet courtyard just off a main road. Lovely big bedroom and bathroom. The shower was good. They have a washing machine that you can use and a line to hang out your clothes. Bun's mother even brought my clothes in to finish drying because it started to rain while I was out in the city. Breakfast was what I expected. Lots of fruit and a different cooked item every day. Mountain bikes were provided, which was awesome if you wanted to explore the city or surrounding areas. Bun also operates a tour company: Battambang Tours By Bun . He can provide half day or full day tours. This is not to be missed. He gave an excellent insight into Cambodian culture, and you see the main attractions in Battambang. I would highly recommend Bun Homestay.

The room looks really nice, it is very new. The bed is comfortable, the shower and water pressure are good, and there is free water. It is also super quiet at night. We had breakfast included which we enjoyed very much, it was a good and big enough breakfast for us. Bun is really great, he picked us up and dropped us off at the bus stop for free. We did the half day tour with him, and that really made it worth it for us to come to Battambang, he explained so much about Cambodia and Cambodian life. Also he has free bicycles that you can use, which is great so you don’t have to walk everywhere or use a tuktuk or motorcycle. All in all, definitely worth it to stay here, would come back again!

Very nice and private home stay at the property of a lovely family. Bun is a great host, he will do his best to make your stay perfect. He speaks English very well, and can arrange tours with wonderful guides who also speak English. He has a free pick-up service (which we recommend, because his property is not easy to find). Room was spacious and quiet, and has good airco and a large bathroom. The bed was comfy. There was free water to refill our water bottles.

Nothing really. Some tea or coffee with the breakfast would have been nice.

I had 3 wonderful nights with Bun and his family at his homestay. They are really wonderful, open and friendly people who helped me with everything. Bun picked me up from the busstation and made me feel really welcomed. Since it‘s a bit outside of town Bun gave me a bicycle so I could go around and to the city center. I enjoyed that so much. I also took a day tour with him which was just amazing!!!
