Misty Mount Homestay

Very kind host, comfortable stay and the location is very near to little adams peak and nine arch bridge

Some mould in the bathroom might concern some people but no big deal for us

We had an amazing time at the Misty Mount Homestay and kept extending our stay. The room and the view were lovely everything was nice and clean, we even had a little balcony. The Family was so welcoming and even invited us to their new years celebration. We had an amazing time and can only recommend this place.

Host was amazing, location very good to access Ella town and the 9 arch Bridge. Room was very clean. Totally satisfied with our stay.

Bathroom could be cleaner. Would recommend a small kitchenette and fridge would have been nice

The couple that run this place is so lovely and welcomed us with tea on arrival! Bathroom has an amazing hot water shower - the warmest we had in Sri Lanka. So nice after a day outdoors. Location is absolutely perfect, it’s just a tiny bit out of town centre so it’s more quiet, but it’s right next to an amazing cafe (umbrella cafe) and amazing massage place - definitely try both. Also right next to the trail for Nine Arch bridge walk - amazing

Nothing as such

The property is right next to the town, a 10 minute walk into the centre and up a hill so had beautiful views. The room seemed clean and provided mosquito netting and the owners were lovely, offering us tea and asking how are day was going whenever we passed them, always making sure to say hello in the morning. Oh and the shower had hot water and the property gives you blankets not duvets or a duvet sheet.

There were some ants around the floor boards but a bit of mosquito spray killed them, the entire ceiling had black mold which didn’t effect us but was there if you react badly or are worried about getting ill from it. And finally the plug worked but made weird electric sounds.

De eenvoud, gemak en daardoor de efficiency van de inrichting. De gastheer is hulpvaardig en aardig, net als de gastvrouw.

Het viel niet tegen, maar vanaf de parkeerplaats is er een steil voetpad omhoog naar de accommodatie. En dat was even onverwachts.
